  1. Who we are

    Laurelsworth provides cleaning and property services across Leeds and Manchester. When you send an enquiry through this website we decide how that information is used, which makes us the data controller for it under UK data protection law.

  2. What we collect

    Only what the quote form asks for. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up to.

    About the property
    The service you need, the type of property, its postcode, and when you need us.
    About you
    Your name, your email address and your phone number.
    Anything you add
    The optional description of the job. Please do not put anything sensitive in it.
    Where the enquiry came from
    The page you sent it from, so we can tell which part of the site produced it.
    Your IP address
    Used to limit how many submissions come from one source, and held briefly in server logs. It is not stored alongside your enquiry.

  3. Why we use it

    To answer you and prepare a quote
    Processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
    To keep the form usable
    Our legitimate interest in stopping spam and abuse. Without a check of some kind the form fills with bot submissions and real enquiries get lost in them.

  4. Who else sees it

    We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising. It reaches these companies only because they run parts of this service.

    Resend
    Delivers two emails: your enquiry to us, and your confirmation to you.
    Cloudflare
    Runs the spam check on the form. It sees a verification token and technical signals about the request, not the content of your enquiry.
    Our hosting provider
    Serves this website and holds short-lived server logs that include IP addresses.

    Some of these process data outside the UK. Where that happens it is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.

  5. How long we keep it

    There is no customer database behind this website. Your enquiry exists as an email in our inbox and nowhere else. We keep it while we are answering you and for as long as we need a record of work we have quoted for. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

  6. What you can ask us to do

    You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable format.

    Ask through the contact page and tell us what you would like. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month.

    If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

  7. Children

    Our services are sold to adults and this form is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.

  8. Changes to this policy

    If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top of it.
